Flu factory working overtime to combat Australia’s vaccine shortage

KeepHealthCare.ORG – Flu factory working overtime to combat Australia’s vaccine shortage

Australia’s flu factory working is overtime to combat the country’s vaccine shortage.

Half a million chicken eggs are being delivered to a Melbourne laboratory every day to make 700,000 flu shots.

Demand for vaccines has skyrocketed after last winter’s horror flu season where 1,100 people died.

It will take around 6 weeks to produce enough vaccine doses before it’s made available to the public.
