KeepHealthCare.ORG – Letter sent to the Governor’s office about healthcare reform
WDAY spoke to a council member who says the state is struggling with access to mental health experts.
This is because the state is so rural, it can be hard for people to get to where they need to go.
The council is hoping this letter will bring more attention to this issue, and put a plan in place.
“It’s neat to be able to work in the field, and we want to be able to provide that access to many people – be it through creative measures, but kind of getting together as a whole, as a state, and see some action being put into place,” says clinical director Shauna Eberhardt.
The council will be finalizing and sending the letter in the next few weeks.
