Madison-based band Running Late donated its services this year to the Susan G. Komen North Jersey Race for the Cure.

The renowned Madison-based band Running Late was the featured performer for the second straight year at the Susan G. Komen North Jersey Race for the Cure, held on May 6 at Liberty State Park in Jersey City.
Members of the band, managed by Madison resident and bassist Mike Hall, include Lauren D’Imperio on lead vocals, Noah Giglio, guitar and vocals; Alex Fillimon on keyboard and cello; Ori Yekutiel on drums; and John Hall, saxophone and vocals.
More than 2,500 people came out to Liberty State Park for this year’s event, which has raised more than $600,000 to date for the fight against breast cancer, with fundraising continuing through Saturday, June 30. This year, Running Late donated its services for the event.

Hall’s mother, Dr. Julie M. DiGioia, a breast cancer survivor and breast surgeon associated with Jersey City Medical Center-RWJBarnabas and Overlook Hospital in Summit, served as a co-chair for last year’s Komen North Jersey Race.
