As well as the skin for Mercy in-game, you’ll also be able to purchase a special Pink Mercy T-Shirt on the Blizzard Gear Store.
Blizzard will also be hosting a set of charity streams that will give players the chance to unlock player icons and sprays that will all benefit visibility and awareness for BCRF.
Blizzard has confirmed that all donations via skin purchases and shirt sales will go to the BCRF.
Blizzard will publish stats about how much money has been raised by the initiative at the end of the appeal on May 21.
This comes as it looks like Blizzard could be teasing the reveal of a new character for Heroes of the Storm.
We’ve seen Blizzard secretly tease characters for all of its franchises before, but its newest tease could point to another crossover character for Heroes of the Storm.
A series of hints seem to be bleeding out into the public about a new character coming to HotS from Overwatch…
First up, we saw a flicker of static at the end of a recent Heroes of the Storm Global Championship (HGC) broadcast that may suggest Sombra (an in-universe hacker) might be working her magic somewhere behind the scenes.
The video flickers to a bit of static – something Blizzard did when they were teasing Sombra for her Overwatch reveal – and the static also has a slightly purple hue.
On its own, this may come across as fairly innocuous – but this isn’t the first time we’ve seen something like this happen.
You can read more about that here.
