ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC-TV) – Salvatore’s Pizzeria is celebrating 40 years in business with a bang!

The pizza shop presented two checks for $40,000 to the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester and Camp Good Days and Special Times on Saturday at the Lady Lancers’ game.

Salvatore “Soccer Sam” Fantauzzo said it’s honor to be able to give back to the community he loves.

“It just feels good. I think all the franchise owners of Salvatore’s — it makes it worth all the stress of being self-employed in New York State and working as hard as they do,” said Fantauzzo.

The check given to the Breast Cancer Coalition was raised by the store’s pink box campaign which has been extended another year.
