Starbucks offers a fancy hot drink called Medicine Ball Tea, which was originally a secret menu and became so popular that it was added to the regular menu. It’s got hot tea, lemonade, honey… But unfortunately, it’s not ketonic at all.

The key to this special drink is the delicious combination of mint and peach tea flavors. The current version of Starbucks uses Teavana Mint Majesty and Teavana Peach Tranquility.
My local grocery store had the most available blend of Tazo Zen and Celestial Seasonings Country Peach Passion, so that’s what I used, and I’m happy to report that they taste very similar! I would choose any of these brands and work with them.
Tips for preparing hippie recipes:
- To simplify the process, I always prepare the hot water in a Keurig coffee maker so I don’t have to boil the water. You can always boil a kettle of water or make a balloon medicine drink in a pan on the stove, if you like.
- One of my favorite kitchen gadgets is the Zulay lemon and lime juicer. It’s perfect for small juicers that need fresh citrus juice, as in this recipe.
